Submit your non-refundable $50 application fee. Payment may be made by credit card upon completion of your application or by check. Please make checks out to Hope International University with the student's name on the memo-line, and mail to the address below:

The prompt - In approximately 500 words, please address the three bullet points:
Send us your official high school transcript. Official transcripts can be mailed to HIU, delivered in person, or sent digitally through Parchment or Transcript Network. Physical copies that are mailed or delivered in person must remain closed and sealed. If transcripts are opened, or the seal is broken, transcripts will be deemed unofficial.
(If applicable), If you completed college classes, please submit official transcripts from all colleges/universities attended.
(Note) If any high school or college coursework is in progress at the time of application, an additional final transcript must be sent when the coursework is complete.
Send us your results from the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) or the American College Test (ACT). Score reports must be sent directly from the testing agency to the Undergraduate Admissions Office.

Did you complete Advanced Placement (AP) Exams?
If so, please send your results directly from the College Board to HIU. Exam scores of 3 or higher will be considered for credit at HIU
Hope International University adheres to a rolling admission policy. Applicants may apply anytime before the start of each semester, however, it is important to apply as early as possible as you will not receive your financial aid package or be enrolled until you are accepted.
To qualify for an Early Action application deadline, all materials must be received in the Admissions Office by the appropriate deadline date.
Consideration for admission will be made after the Undergraduate Admissions Office receives all required items. Once a determination on admission status is made, applicants will be notified in writing.

Transfer students are students who have completed 24 or more semester units of transferable college-level coursework. Applicants with at least 24 semester units of transferable college-level coursework are not equired to submit SAT or ACT scores. We also accept students who have fewer than 24 college-level units; they follow the first-time freshmen admissions process (above).
